On July 9, 2013, Franco announced that he would be on the next Comedy Central Roast. The Roast aired on Labor Day, September 2nd. The roastmaster was Seth Rogen. Roasters included Aziz Ansari, Bill Hader (as "the President of Hollywood" who roasted himself in addition to the other celebrities), Jonah Hill, Nick Kroll, Natasha Leggero, Jeff Ross, Andy Samberg, and Sarah Silverman.
